Rangárþing eystra is looking for enthusiastic participants to take part in the Multicultural Council for the 2026–2030 electoral period.

The Multicultural Council serves as an advisor to the local government and its committees, providing guidance on issues and concerns affecting residents of Rangárþing eystra, particularly those related to immigrants and people with a foreign background.

All council members must be immigrants living in Iceland and have their legal domicile in Rangárþing eystra. Meetings are typically held every other month, and members will be compensated for their participation in the council.

Rangárþing eystra is actively seeking individuals who are interested in contributing to the council and making a positive impact on our community. If you are passionate about creating a better community for everyone, we encourage you to get involved.
