Dagana 9. til 12. október verða starfsmenn Hringrásar á ferð um sveitarfélagið og munu taka við ónýtum bílum eða öðrum málmum búum að kostnaðarlausu. Heimsókn þeirra nú er fyrri heimsókn þeirra frábrugðin að því leiti að nú verður keyrt heim að bæjum og húsum í sveitarfélaginu.

Einnig er óskað eftir ábendingum um yfirgefin bílhræ eða annað rusli sem átt gæti við í þessari hreinsun.

From October 9th to 12th, the company Hringrás will be conducting a municipal cleanup campaign. During this time, we will be offering complimentary collection services for unusable vehicles and various metal items.

Notably, this year's initiative distinguishes itself from previous ones, as the services will reach farms and residences within the municipality.

Furthermore, we welcome your input and recommendations regarding the identification and removal of abandoned vehicle wrecks and other debris that warrant attention during this cleanup operation. Last year's efforts resulted in the successful removal of over 200 tons of materials, contributing significantly to the enhancement of our community's aesthetic appeal.
