The rules are different during school period and during the summertime. On the september 1. the rules changed to school period.

From 1.september to 1.may kids 12 years and younger are not allowed to be outside without guardians after 20:00.

Kids 13 to 16 can not be outside without guardians after 22:00.

Exceptions can be made for the latter group when they are on their way home from a recognized school, sports, or youth event. Age is based on the year of birth. Parents/guardians are, of course, allowed to shorten this time and set rules for their children regarding shorter outdoor curfews.

The outdoor curfew rules are according to child protection laws. They are intended, among other things, to ensure sufficient sleep, which is necessary for children and teenagers. The need for sleep is individual, but it is assumed that children and teenagers of school age need 10 hours of sleep per night. It is important to ensure that children and teenagers get enough sleep. This includes making sure they are not on their phones or computers when they should be in bed.
