We are restarting the language café at the library in Hvolsvollur on September 26th at 17:00.

The rules are different during school period and during the summertime. On the september 1. the rules changed to school period. From 1.september to 1.may kids 12 years and younger are not allowed to be outside without guardians after 20:00. Kids 13 to 16 can not be outside alone after 22:00.

At the beginning of 2024, the regional council of Rangárþing eystra assigned the newly formed Multicultural Council the task of managing a grant received from SASS. This grant is part of a project called "Action Plans for the Sustainable Demographic Development of the Central Area."
