Applications are being accepted for the Rangárþing eystra Cultural Fund

Rangárþing eystra Municipality is accepting applications for the Rangárþing eystra Cultural Fund for the spring allocation of 2025, in accordance with the fund's grant allocation rules. The grant amount will be determined by each year's budget.

Eligible applicants for grants from the Rangárþing eystra Cultural Fund include legal individuals, associations, institutions, or companies involved in cultural activities within the municipality. Applicants domiciled in Rangárþing eystra may also apply for grants even if the project takes place outside the municipality.

The application must include:

• A project description with a work plan and timeline.
• A cost estimate.
• Required permits for the project, if applicable.
• Information about the applicant.

Travel grants, operational grants, initial funding, or renovation grants are not provided.

The Rangárþing eystra Municipal Council will make decisions on grant allocations based on submitted applications, after receiving the opinion of the Rangárþing eystra Cultural Committee.
