Removal of Unregistered Vehicles in Hvolsvöllur

Rangárþing eystra has recently been removing unregistered vehicles from public areas in Hvolsvöllur. As there are still several unregistered cars located on private residential properties, the municipality is offering residents assistance in removing these vehicles and transporting them to the Strönd recycling center free of charge.

The rules are different during school period and during the summertime. On the september 1. the rules changed to school period. From 1.september to 1.may kids 12 years and younger are not allowed to be outside without guardians after 20:00. Kids 13 to 16 can not be outside alone after 22:00.
